Putting in a new battery and the new ones are different. According to my parts manual the battery stands on it's end. Is there a conversion kit?? The one in my bike was longways front to rear and didn't fit down in the battery tray. Harley says they make a conversion kit so it mounts sideways. Comes with new tray, stainless hold down and battery.
Any suggestions??
Thanks,
Tom

Yes, the Blast! battery tray conversion. Part #Z0022.9 if you can find one. The retail is $222

I ended up chopping my tray so that I can now fit whatever I can fit on there, large or small. I'm currently using a YTZ10S.

The original "Genesis" battery lasted six years in mine. The rest have only survived 1-2 years.
