We have a 2000 X1 Lightning and our left front turn signal bulb blowed we replaced the bulb and still does not work the left rear flashes really fast. When we replace the bulb in the front the flasher box makes noises We purchased the right bulb also. No problems with the right side. Any suggestions. Thank You.

It's a 2 watt bulb with a 0.17 amp draw. The part # 68968-99Y is what you want to order from your local HD dealer.

If you're sure you got the right bulb then I'd check the orientation of the bulb as fitted into the housing. Sometimes the bulb needs to be rotated to make the proper contact.

Check your wiring connection near the steering head. That's where my problem lay, with the bullet connectors.
