I would do a TPS reset just to rule that out but this sounds more like a mildly leaking intake seal(s). Easy to check. Just warm up the bike, keep the RPMs around 2K, shoot some propane right at the seams between the intake and the head and see if the RPMs change. If so, then you got a leak. You can also check your AFV via ECMspy. If it is higher than 110%, that also could point to a leaking intake seal. The "physical" method is much more reliable though. Just a couple of things to start with....

The idle function is not controlled by the ECM. (DAMHIK). The idle can be adjusted with the idle cable which is behind the right hand side pod. Like kalali says, it sounds like you have an intake leak somewhere. Do his test. if it is negative try warming the bike thoroughly & then adjust the idle to 1000-1100 RPM, go ride it & see if this cures the high idle condition.
good luck!

OK..I started the bike and its idleing fine now. so I took I took it for a ride to warm it up and still a good idle.I did the propane test just to be sure and idle did not change on either side. I again tried turning the bars from side to side to replicate the problem..and nothing..idles fine. I think I am going to tap into ECMSPY and do a TPS reset just for S @ G's. Does anyone have the proper procedure for adjusting the throttle and idle cables? My throttle seems to have alot of play and would like it to be a little tighter. Just so you know, I did move the throttle cable around to see if the idle changed and it did not.

You should be able to eradicate "play" in the throttle by using the adjuster on the cable at the handlebar.

I was under the impression that you need to follow a procedure to do this correctly.

IDK: I just tightened mine a bit to stop the throttle rolling around!
I put risers on my bike & adjusted the throttle cable accordingly at the bars.

I'm not aware of any specific "procedure". I just used the nuts at the end of the cable near the lever to adjust mine. Good time to lubricate the cable(s) too.

And I would leave the TPS alone for now. Why mess with something that is just fine. If you're really itching to use ECMspy, just go ahead and make a note of your AFV and then set to 100 and see if it stays there. BTW, the bike looks great. Good score.
