I got my M2 back from the mechanic yesterday. It was leaking profusely from the front push rod cover of the rear cylinder, so bad it was scary to ride because the right side of the rear wheel was wet. I took it to an independent shop a riding buddy recommended. They replaced all the push rod seals, rocker box gaskets and umbrella valves. Result - Dry motor, dry tire, and a huge confidence boost now that I'm not a mobile oil slick.

I took it easy yesterday to make sure everything was working properly. Today I took a nice long ride in the mountains. Beautiful scenery, fast roads with a few nice curves and very few police. The bike was perfect. I'm in love again.
