"4 1/8 fits" "4 5/16 barely" "4 1/2 no" The biggest cu that fits the frame is 94.2 cubic 4 1/8 by 3 13/16, by Truett. Book is 1997 so things might well have changed since then. I got one off ebay new and I have found it to be a mine of info. The 100" is .200" taller. The 100" requires S&S SA crankcases though so the price goes way up. S&S's catalog says the 89" kit won't fit, but it does just barely. The clearance problem is on the rear rocker box on the right side.
