Looks good, very clean, nice buy. I dig the color matched swingarm brace, it looks very sharp. How do the dual pipes sound? Do you know if they cammed it, seems like they might have with the intake and exhaust done, or perhaps they just changed out the cam cover?

I'm afraid this sounds impolite, but someone really wanted their Buell to be a Harley, down to the foot pegs, is it safe to assume it came with all the stickers?

I know, it needs cleaning up, too many stickers, and the tank was repainted and has bubbles, but sounds and runs great, 1st thing I'm going to do is change the swing arm rubber isolator mounts(there's a rip in one of them), I may need some help on that

Lc, I did mine in 2007, had help and it took hours.

Then someone posted a link:

http://danielcstarr.googlepages.com/replacetuberis olators

The link is blocked from my work's internet, social networking or something, so i couldn't verify it's still valid, I hope it is because the method described looked so much easier than what I tried. There is another method described in the knowledge vault here so if this link doesn't get you there just start your search in the KV. We can post up links for you should you have trouble finding it.

Browsing the KV is a good thing, there is a wealth of information available there.

Welcome!

That "easy" way to change the isolators is still at that site that littlebuggles posted. . . . apparantly alot easier doing it his way as oppossed to "factory" way, from what I've read.

Thanks Chris, lame internet filters here, and of course I forget by the time I get home in the morning. There are some down sides to working the graveyard shift.

Glad it went well for you! That mount does look done. If only one was bad, the other will go before too long.

You just have to open the frame up a little more to get them both done. Hopefully you looked at the other link as well, to give some ideas regarding getting the other one done.

It really helps if you've got another set of hands when you do the job.
