ALright as with all X1s I have finally had the dreaded FI problem. I am currently stripping the bike down to powder coat the frame and some other parts so I have some questions in the mean time..

I got a like new wiring harness, new O2 sensor, and a new CPS (not installed yet). I am planning on a new TPS and a reset (ECM SPY) and going back to the factory fuel map.

Here is my issue; I went to remove the electrical connector from the front fuel injector and its been permanently attached (super glue??) so I need a new one or a new set. Anyone know where to get them? or a good PN? I ran the numbers on them and found ZIP.

I also have a new starter relay and BAS and new intake exhaust gaskets in my hand hen I put it back together. But I want it to be all "new when I go back to work on it.

The ducati is fun but I miss the old school Hooligan, nothing beats an old tuber!

So the injector assembly from an XB will bolt up to the X1 manifold? I have found a lot of XB injectors out there but I wasn't positive if they would work?

When i got my X1 it took me almost 2 yrs to get it running and built up the way i wanted it to. The PO did no maintenance and would ride it hard and then go back on duty.(air force pilot) When he got home on leave. It was wash, rinse, and repeat with the treatment of this bike.

I bought one of those full assemblies also. Not sure what yours looks like. But it should have all the parts like the TPS and a few others. The injectors are like $68.00 each, not to mention the other parts on the assembly. I have been trying to hoard parts for my bike for later on when i can't get them anymore.

I think I read somewhere that the injectors were a ford part.

But buying a complete assembly all together is the smart move.
While it's out in your hand, replace the O-rings from the injectors and other rubber stuff.
