headlight and brackets from an M2 or S1 will work. The X1 has a unique dash though, so you'll have to find one from another X1. And note that the odometer reading from the donor bike will follow the gages.

m2 brackets wont work, the forks are smaller on a m2.

I found a carbon dash that might work, the guages seem fine, everything displays okay and the headlight still burns but the glass is busted out and the bracket is bent into it. It's amazing but the fly screen just popped off, no cracks or anything. What about the clutch lever, it is bent too.

Will s3 bars work? They are 7/8 but will they hit the tank?

S3 bars are the same as the X-1, S3T bars are about 1-1/2 taller.

Hey Kim, what happened? Thought you just picked up the bike a few weeks ago.

Get knocked over or dropped, hopefully not a crash!

I have some S3 bars just sitting around the garage if youre interested, let em go real cheap.
I think its the S3T bar (though my bike didnt come with bags or lowers), they have about a 4" vertical rise on them.

One thing I am on the hunt for is a set of headlight brackets, found some on eBay but they are 100 bucks plus shipping.

He went wide on a sweeping curve and got in some loose gravel, the clutch drug as he went down and I know the left front blinker popped off and the front got smashed up and it landed on the right side where it popped off the brake and right rear blinker. He ended up beside the bike on his belly where I think he landed on his left arm which cracked his ribs and smashed his spleen but no road rash or scratches and he was in a short sleeve shirt (refused a mesh jacket). The helmet only has light sanding from the grass and ground, we were about 50 mph

Soooo............a friend was driving it??
Roads are still a little hairy, season does not want to end. I see where you are, also should still have residuals on the road yet..ie..salt,sand,gravel.....Hopefully things will all come together and work out....
Lucky man...sometimes you only get one chance to crash......All my best..jg

The roads in mississippi didn't get that bad it was just a gravel road that came up to the curve and he went way wide and caught the gravel. He almost pulled it off and rode straight through upright but he hit the back brake and slid it under. He will pay the damages and has good health insurance he is just lucky the spleen clotted because he totally refused anything was wrong except his shoulder until the next morning. He is over 50 but hardheaded.
