Does anyone know the part number for the long bolt that goes into the transmission just forward of the shifter? This bolt and the shifter itself hold the lower chin spoiler in place. Mine is stripped and I want to re-install the chin fairing. If you remove the chin spoiler, do you need bolts to take the place of the chin spoiler bolts on the primary? Will the primary cover leak without those bolts?   Alf_au Posted on Sunday, March 13, 2011 - 08:34 pm:        It will eventually leak oil. Use a spacer until you can get a shorter bolt & Screw. These fixing points take the pressure from wind on the chin faring, hence hefty bolts ; without the faring no pressure.same tension on all bolts on the primary case.
