I have an EFI bike and might have a bad VR, my battery is going weak very quickly after being charged.   Desertfox Posted on Tuesday, March 08, 2011 - 05:04 pm:        I could be wrong, but I think I've read that sometimes the grounds get corroded and that can cause the VR to malfunction. Check all of your VR grounds and make them shiny. It couldn't hurt.   Preybird1 Posted on Tuesday, March 08, 2011 - 06:08 pm:        i put in a new VR and it was not grounded properly and it keep throwing and engine code. Once i installed it correctly it worked fine.They can get corroded easily as they are by the front wheel and get water on them when washing the bike and riding in rain.   Hybridmomentspass Posted on Tuesday, March 08, 2011 - 08:14 pm:        will look into it!
