God damnit! This is the 3rd one! How the hell do you people keep your damn tail lights on your bikes!?

My SupaNova just cracked off and fell off my bike. Thats my $330 tail light! So frustrating.

Mine would break the light with the plate hanging off it. The plate mount and tailight/signal mount would eventually break as well.

My fix was an aftermarket metal light/plate holder mounted on rubber isolated clamps.

It's been good for about 10K miles.

Definitely did not have the license plate suspended at all from the light. The iso stiffeners just beat the shit out of the rear end of the bike. It also ripped the front exhaust mount off my KT systems exhaust today too... so now i have a 3" hole in my exhaust.... Have to weld that up now. lmao.

haha... well... Ive destroyed 3 tail lights... I've welded my tail light bracket back together about 15 times now, and I've cracked the exhaust twice, and now a giant hole where the hanger was....

Oh and my feet constantly vibrate. The thing never smooths out.

However, like i said in my swingarm thread.... the thing is as rock solid at 40mph, and just as shifty at 80mph.

Mine has stiffeners on the front and rear. It smooths out above 4k, and only buzzes a little from 3.5-4k. My header got some reinforcement after breaking at the collector a couple times (had a 2" bead welded between the primary tubes). It's been fine ever since.

My footpegs mount directly to the engine, and even so, vibration is not bad at all.

It should be very stable at high speed with or without the stiffeners. I just like the additional feedback.

What is a front stiffener? I'm interested in how that would work. Just a top and bottom hat caps?

On a side note, I may hold back my single sided swing arm project back just a bit, as I think I'm going to gear up for another budget Speed Build week.

Hotop Designs front motor mount limiter.

I used the bigger washer underneath the isolator with the stock D washer up top. It sandwiches the isolator on the thicker rubber portion.
