I have a newbie question regarding TPS. I assume this means throttle position sensor? I see alot of posts in regards to re-setting these, especially if you have the race ECU. I just got an 00'X1 that has the race ECU, pro-series exhaust, and Buell race intake. I have only ridden the bike once (approx 30 miles) and it runs great, I just don't have anything to compare it to. If there was a TPS issue with my bike would I have noticed it during the ride?

Thanks!

The reset procedure needs to be done when the ecm is installed, so the ecm knows where "off" is, or "closed throttle". A reset is required periodically as part of maintenance, but if it runs ok...leave it be. If it starts to stumble, sneeze, or have a flat spot a tps reset is usually step 1 on the troubleshooting tree.

Welcome to the madness! : )
