Author Message   Chris_h Posted on Thursday, January 06, 2011 - 01:59 pm:        I just purchased a 2001 M2L w/ 3700mi. I am 5'10" & just thought it was a standard. My main concern is leg fatigue on long trips. I am thinking of selling in spring & getting a standard M2. Any thoughts,opinions appreciated.   Kilroy Posted on Thursday, January 06, 2011 - 02:07 pm:        I think the main difference between the two bikes is the seat (the suspension is slightly lower with the M2L but that alone wouldn't affect your seating position). I wanted to go through the whole exercise of changing forks and etc. but it was way too much trouble, and you know what? The M2L is pretty high itself. I have a couple of short friends who find it awkward. I don't have any trouble with the legroom. At 5'-6", if I felt the need to get both feet fully down, I wouldn't be on Buells.
