Have 2000 ST3 with D&D, forcewinder and race ECM. Bike starts and idles normally with no difficulty. However during revving or acceleration engine loses power and tries to cut off. This occurs at very low rpm 2000-3000. Fueling problem? Bike does not sit. I ride it at least 50 miles a week. Thanks in advance. |

Run some injector cleaner thru it(use good stuff) and check to make sure the vent is open in the Force Winder. These are quick, after that it gets more involved. Good Luck |

Next time it does it, pop your fuel cap locking tab to 'unseal' the cap. See if that fixes it. If it does...clogged rollover vent (the little periscope on the front of the filler cap ring). |

make sure to check battery voltage while running, seen VRs cause similar symptoms. |

Popped fuel cap, Runs like a champ. Feel a little stupid. Pushed the thing home quarter of a mile. I guess a little exercise never hurt anyone. Thanks Ratbuell. |

(you're not the first one to do it...and I'm sure you won't be the last!) |

The vent on the Forcewinder doesn't matter on a fuelie, just the carb models. It for the float bowel, no such thing on a fuel injected motor... |
