Gerbing armored heated gloves utilizing the battery option.

Are they all there cracked up to be?

Have to find a way to keep riding!!!!!!!!! Haven't been in my car for over 6 months now. Pretty boring existence in the car.

Thanks for the help.

I am a huge fan of Gerbing products in general but have not been all that happy with the gloves. Have you tried heated grips?

I had some of the gloves that are wired to the bikes battery and they were a waste of money! They broke in the first season and i repaired them and they broke again. The stitching on the gloves is cheap and doesn't hold up. I bought some meijer gloves that are better but not great either. I would go more towards snowmobile gloves as they are a lot better.

Try the HD heated (wired) gloves. I have had mine for at least 5 years and have no complaints. No chrome either by the way

i have gerbing (harley branded) gloves, jacket liner, pants liner, and dual controller. used as directed, i have found the comfortzone extended far past the time i would normally ride into the winter.

with the heated gear, i am able to ride year round. obviously, the february rides aren't the length or exhuberance level of the june rides, but there will be no winterizing baby blue. she rolls 365.

gerbing makes the harley stuff. harley costs more for their branding, but if you need the lifetime warranty on the wiring anywhere (i have twice), the dealer will send it in for you (no shipping charges either way), and take care of everything.

i think it is a good investment if you get cabin fever in the winter. i need the release of riding 12 months per year.

I didn't know Gerbing made the HD stuff. Glad to know I wasn't tooting HDs horn completely

Sounds like this will satisfy my craving for two-wheeled transport.

Thanks for all your help.

You have heated grips on your snowblower??!!!!!
I'm speechless.
I've actually had a hard time with the concept of a snowblower!
We were at the Gerbing factory in Washington this summer and bought jackets and gloves. They make them there. Pleased as punch, although the gloves are so warm that I didn't even need to plug them in. Don't know how well they'll wear.

I have a set of the HD/Gerbing battery gloves.
My biggest complaint is that the batteries only last about an hour, even at the lowest setting. I thought it might be a set of bad batteries, ordered another set, ($40 each), same result.

I'm going to heated grips, the battery ones are not worth the money.

Heated grips are good for taking the chill off on a cool fall or spring morning/evening. Heated grips, in my experience, does nearly nothing in actual cold weather riding.

I'm trying to extend my riding also, and don't have any heated clothing experience. It seems from what I'm reading here, heated gloves, running off the bike's battery would be my starting point. Yes? No?

Thought about Uly handguards, but not sure how much help they would be.

50+ with sunshine is my lower limit to be able to enjoy vs. endure.

Heated grips are good for unexpected chilly rains and colder mornings
Heated gear are good for cold days all around I use both but not together
The hook up to the battery is easy and the gloves and jacket are like a warm electric blanket wrapped around you while riding.
The handguards are nice they block some of the air but your fingers will still get cold

OK, i just spoke with a Gerbing CS rep.

All their gloves are either made in China or Pakistan so i won't be buying these gloves. i did shoot off a message to them asking whoever receives it to forward message to Jeff Gerbing, CEO, with my comments on handing over my hard earned cash, via Gerbing, to two sworn enemies of the USA. i also asked if he knew where i could buy made in USA heated gloves.

Widder is out of business.

As i've been saying for a long time now, we, the people of America, are buying our own pair of Chinese chains for the gulag, at $0.15 per purchase!

Two_seasons try Whitehorse gear on-line they offer other brands of heated gear. They are based out of NY and the company is owned and run by Americans, most of them are MSF instructors
