I am disappointed that I feel its necessary to post another thread further to this one. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/476 23/602802.html?1289554810 It now looks like a side stand and tail lamp bracket ordered for my S1 is also going in the dumpster Stateside. Here is Maz's recent posting on the UK Buell site about it. Site Admin Joined: Wed Apr 15, 2009 5:17 pm Posts: 3175 Location: Manchester Update.......so when the tail lamp bracket didn't turn up either, after the suggested 3-4 weeks delivery from the USA, I once again chased the order....... .......part is now no longer available, even though, once again the order was processed and accepted at the time ie. part in stock and available for dispatch. It would appear that the USA warehouse is going through the same process as the EDC and binning Buell parts.......so much for assurances This part is now listed as 'vintage' and as such means that only stock still held at dealers will be available Funny, isn't it (NOT) that you can still buy parts for a 40+ year old H-D from your dealer without any problems at all |

"Vintage" could also mean that it has gone to the separate parts vendor. I'm not sure, but I think this might be them: http://www.vpartsinc.com/ I know that there is a group that buys "obsolete" parts for HD and Buell. |

Historically HD unloads discontinued parts to dealers at firesale prices ... Ebay seems to be the outlet for alot of these dealers |
