Hi guys can anyone tell me will a belt off a 1200 sportster fit a 2000 M2 Cyclone or is it a different number of teeth?

The SPORTSTER BELT,drive - 128 tooth
PN 40022-91 is the same Drive Belt with HARLEY-DAVIDSON on it ...


It RETO-FITS Tube Frames from 1997(which "i" have) to the end for their production run is 2002 ...

DRIVE BELT INSTALLATION and ADJUSTMENT Class 101 available upon request ...

I think you sent me that info as well as a few other posts about clutch adjustment etc thanks , just seen a sportster belt cheap at a swap meet and needed to know if it would fit the cyclone , thanks.}

If the belt is cheap, and is not in the original packaging, shouldn't one ask why and purchase with a skeptical mind.

Ironicly, I put a belt on my Dad's Sportster last year. We went with an XB9 belt as they are much sturdier. For the amount of work involved in replacing one, I would get an XB belt and just be done with it.

Yeah the belt was in the original packaging with just harley logos on it and sportster and a serial number , the guys selling it were from a harley shop but he didnt have anything with him to cross reference for Buell , I didnt end up buying it anyway found out it wasnt that cheap !
