finally got my bike fired up....but it seems to run pretty hot...its a 96' s1...seems like the pipes get very hot...also jus slapped on an ssr2 vance and hines...not sure if it would make that much of a difference...need i worry? it also seems to bog a bit when i crack the throttle and it backfires a bit...

what exhaust was it before? Was the carb re-jetted before ? "Seems to run hot" any temp readings taken??

not sure what brand exhaust was on it...but i know it was a carbon fiber type...the bike was used to race by the harley shop owner yrs ago...not sure what he did to it(rejetted) ive had it for about five yrs now and really didnt have to do much to it....will get a temp gun from work tmrrw and see what its running at...any idea around where the temp should be?

When was last time intake seals were done?

ok...so im still having trouble with my bike, choke open, everythings great...when i hit the throttle, bike bogs and shuts off...push the choke in, bike shuts off...any ideas as to what it may be? i just replaced the intake seals to see if that would help , but no luck...thanks.
