Any good ideas on how to fix this? I didn't get to see what it was made out of this morning in the dark. Luckily I have the Uly for backup..

The bracket is steel. You likely didn't break that. The plastic part holding cable and knob in place can be replaced. Get new parts on e you actually know for sure what is broken. It may have just come loose.

DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN AS THE PLASTIC BREAKS VERY EASILY !!!

It was the metal bracket that broke, and it looks like I lost one of the bolts that goes into the top of the rear jug. Crappy crap crap...Hope I can get one since it looks a little more complicated to fabricate..

Got the bracket welded and back on the bike.. Damn it has been a long couple months.. I want to ride the beast..

Hey that should have been a quick fix. I'm from WI and would have had months to fix. Weird that it broke though. Couple months for me to ride. To much NaCl (salt) on the roads and your average sand on the corners for me to attempt it. Good luck.

Yes I was procrastinating. It is easy when I have the Uly and heated grips to fall back to. I did get it started last night, but the cold kept me from a spin.. Come on Spring we are waiting...
