while the engines are in bits could you weigh an xb piston and a thunderstorm piston and let me know the results please ?

Ill weigh them, but I think the pistons in my tube frame bike are non-OEM.

Here's a complete XB top end (with XB9 pistons btw), installed. It definitely fills the frame out a bit more, and looks better IMHO:

Kinda looks weird. The bigger fins make it look funky.

Wonder what the temperature and power difference is...

Anyone have a full write up on converting a s1 to xb12 topend? Id love to get the new ported XB heads.

I would be interested to hear your evaluation of the XB9 top end vs the OEM 1200.
