Hi, I'm looking to buy 1998 S1 White Lightning but I can't tell if one is. It came in white all over and in black with polish aluminum wheels.

Is it in the VIN? How do I decipher it?

Thanks
Christopher

S1W's have Black Heads and a Manta Tank.

The VIN starts with 4MZSS for an S1 and 4MZYS for S1W

It has always been my favorite. I never had the opportunity to own one, maybe now...

Even though I'm told it's not so good, especially in original condition, I don't care, for neither quality nor originality.

If I can't afford to keep it running then I'll build a couple of pedestals and put it up for display!

There are a couple of real nice ones for sale in the classified section. I'd love to get that white one...
