I made me a drag strut for my x1 and I have material left over and was wondering if anyone would like one themselves if so just write me back. I don't know if the measurements would covert over to a s3 or a m2 but someone out there can confirm it for me. |

Mine is about 19 in length and I used a 7/8 in round bar with and 1/2 in for the eyes. I will have to get a pic back to u and I don't know about the price right now and what would be a good price to ask for. |

Mine are welded on but I think I could do some threaded but I would have to get some hollow round bar |

Struts are a cheap, fast and easy way to lower the bike for the strip, but you will have better 60' times by modifying the front mount to lower the bike and using a shock. A Penske shock will also let you lower the rear about 1"-1.5" (I haven't measured it yet). Take the preload out, lower the compression damping and increase the rebound damping. Of course it is all in vain if you don't strap the forks down! |

Well I guess I will save up my money to get a shock that way it won't beat me to death when I ride it on the street. |
