as you can see im having exh hanger issues... lol

so ive been hearing about this "Y" bracket, which apparently is $125 for a exhaust hanger? is it made of gold?

also what about the tab that comes off of the end of the header collector, what does that mount to? mine just has a piece of flat steel stock thats twisted and mounted to the shock reservoir bolt. but my bolt vibrated out again, shoulda used a lock nut instead of just locktite

can anyone take some pics of how it is suposed to look?

This is the new Y bracket. It really works well. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/384 2/B032-263579.pdf

Maybe search for some S1 pictures. I'll see if I can find any.

IMHO, no matter how the exhaust system is mounted, if not assembled on bike correctly all is lost ...

Got that right. Retard who mounted up the V&H on my bike before I got it destroyed the muffler. Literally shook itself apart and broker every weld on the can.

Front exhaust bushings. Have them look in the IPB, they'll find it.

The new Y hanger also comes with the bracket to relocate the voltage regulator, and another rear exhaust bracket. It's worth the money IMHO.

+1 to calling American Sport Bike.
Dealer will tell you that it's obsolete.

The newer "Y" hanger is superior though.

But American Sport Bike has the rubber dingies to fix your immediate issue : )

I need to fix support bracket for the header because it never fit right for me, but since I don't need the z-bracket since I have the race can.
I have had this conversion for about 5 years and love it. I use .50 g fishing line as a nylock insert.
