Was at HD dealership today picking up come gaskets to service S3T. White XR1200X was sitting in dealership. I know there are a few HD haters on this site but that bike looked pretty SWEEEET. Test rode a 2009 a while back. Was not near as fast as my Buell. Thought a while about a black 2009 that they were going to sell me for $9K, but decided to keep the Buell. Think I still will keep the Buell, but if I had to buy a new HD...... |

Still a porker, with a shot-glass fuel tank. If I get another HD (I rode the pi$$ outta my '96 FLHP for years), it'll be something DESIGNED to be a porker, not a porker masquerading as a "sporty" bike. But that won't be for a few long years yet...between my S2 with both sets of bags, and the Uly with OEM Journey bags and 50L Journey topcase, I have all the touring capability I could ever need. |

Yeah, give HD about forty years and they'll catch up to '90s Buell tuber technology.....maybe. |

According to the specs, it's 100 lbs heavier than an S3 and about 20hp less. I hear Harley is coming out with it's own line of vitamins to keep their geriatric owners healthy enough to ride. |

Maybe HD could build a special bike for Geritol complete with daily compartments to hold their customer's meds. |
