2000 Millennium X1 with race ECM. I disconnected the O2 sensor the other day which almost cured the RPM surge at 3000 rpm. Now it still does it, but a lot less than it did. From everything I read, I was expecting the 'check engine' light to be on. It's not. Does this mean at some point, somebody went in there and shut off my ECM's O2 sensor input? | ||

You can check with ECM Spy if the check engine light boxes for the O2 sensor have been checked off.  | ||

When i wrapped my headers i forgot to plug my 02 in and when out for a ride... my check engine light never came on and my 02 is turned on in ECMSPY.... the bike died once on me on that ride and when i got home i saw a wire hanging, thinking what the heck is that... | ||

That's strange, I did a lot of testing last month due to my tune leaning out constantly and every time I'd ride with the O2 sensor disconnected, the light would eventually come on and I'd have a trouble code when scanning with ECM Spy. |
