The S2 is experiencing an extreme lean condition. When you pin the throttle, its as if your pulling a boat anchor.
The last tank of fuel I ran it got 62 mpg and normal is 50-52 mpg.
I checked for an intake leak and didn't find one.I also just swapped the 1 5/8 K&N for the 2" off my Parkway Blue S2T.I can't imagine the swap making that much difference.
Anyone have any thoughts?

Maybe look towards the lean condition being caused by not enough fuel, not by too much air.

Tom,I know its probably fuel related,I'm just letting you know what I've changed recently.
I just don't know where to start with the fuel system.

Thanks

Start with the carb. It might need a rebuild if it has been done in a few years

The filter turned out to be clean. So as I was pulling the carb I looked down and said to myself "there's your problem".I have a crack in the carb top.No vacuum,no piston rise.
They wanted to sell me a chrome "Bar&Shield"
top for twice as much as the OEM black piece.
A friend in service is bringing one in from home tomorrow.
