They look to be regular Castalloy wheels.

Brand new stock Buell rims with the bearings and spacers installed. Twin Cities HD has been selling quite a few NIB Buell parts and at a very nice price also.

If they say "Buell" at the base of a spoke, they're OEM Castalloy.

If they have a lowercase "M" at the base of a spoke, they're early tuber OEM Marchesinis.

Same cosmetics, different manufacturer.

I wish they'd blow out some XB wheels like that - I want a spare set for the Uly so I can mount long-distance-trip tires....

I bet they came from a Racing Stripe X1R. That's how the X1R came out with the white wheels in 2000. A lot of folks switched them out for the PM wheels.

I bought a set of these as well they are the Buell OEM,s. They appear to have come off a new bike because mine have a couple of faint marks where they have been on a tyre machine.

I know ya are, K. I had a blue 'stripe X1 demo for a while. DDFI-I had...character. I remember Erik personally tinkering with it and a breakout box at the '02 Daytona demo rides (XB debut). "Had" to take another lap on the 9R demos because he wasn't done/satisfied by the time we got back from the first round : ) That's part of the reason I stuck with carbs until I plunged into my Uly : ) But I do like the X1 in general, it's a nice bike and we all know I love me a nice tuber.

But my 98 S1W had white wheels before your X1!
