Looks like I still have a lot of work to do. I bought a cheap recorder on the Internet which stopped working so I tried a camera/vid recorder on the handle bars with a ram mount and it just shakes too much. I will be looking for another camera next week but here is a vid...

(I will also change the mount location)

I wouldn't give up on the cheapie spy cams. It's worth trying one of the mini spy cams that sell for cheap on the web. You can strap it onto your fork, with a patch of rubber/neoprene behind to dampen vibes. Strapped really tight, it should be ok.
Here's a thread about these cams, with a link in it to the ones on the web (the thread was about a one-day deal that is long gone, but there are many ebay options). If you get it tight, well dampened, and set up to point straight, it looks like they give pretty good video, at least for online viewing.

Chris, I had that same exact one... It broke when I dropped it on the floor. No problem. I am going to look at other ones. Before it broke I had it velcroed to the forks and think if it worked they would had come out a lot better.
