It seems my gas tank is leaking on two S2s. It is leaking at the top so I need to add some type of sealer to the rings. What do you guys use? (I know it has been talked about but I cannot find the thread)

Also, I ruined two of the big gas tank cover O rings... Anyone one have one or two laying around. TIA

Frank, I picked up a sheet of cork/rubber gasket material at the auto parts store and cut my own gasket. It stopped my tank from leaking from under the gas cap outer flange.

Also try Hylomar. It is actually what the service manual recommends (at least for '00 M2)
