I have been having a problem with my clutch for about a month. I have tried to adjust at the cable and in the clutch housing. Seem to work until this past Thursday when the clutch slipped and stranded me on the side of the road. I tried to adjust it again today but is will not work. The adjustment in the housing is very loose to the point i can just about pull it out. I am not really sure what i need to do now to fix it. Any help and advice would be great.

Have you pulled the derby cover and adjusted the clutch per the service manual?

My throw-out bearing had a significant amount of play when I had my clutch adjusted at 16K miles. Best $45 spent at the dealership (included the $10 bearing).
