I managed to find a brand new Race ECM for my 2000 S3T. I installed it today and there is a no power issue. When I turn the key on, the check engine light does not come on and no power to the fuel pump. Bike turns over but will not start. I reinstalled old ECM and everything is normal. Anyone have any ideas. Instructions say nothing other than plug it in and zero TPS.

The lack of a check engine light/fuel pump means the ECM is not firing up. This is usually due to a bad connection, or more likely in your case, a faulty ECM.

Since it appears this ECM is no good. I guess the next step is ECMSpy. Are there copies out there that can be obtained? Are there maps available?
