Ive had my bike for 4 years and other than the exhaust design its been really reliable. It has a "racing ecm" and recently changed the front head. Now im having a check engine light on the dash. Its not a flashing light but a steady check engine light. once i go and jumper diagnostics plug it gives me a code of 67 which i cant find on the net. any suggestions? ive used http://bcrider.com/DDFI.html to kinda give me an idea on what to do or where to go.

No code 67 in the service manual.
56 is the highest listed, same as the list on your link.

I'd clear it and see if it throws it again.

Your not reading it right then. I was a little confused the first couple of times i read the flashing lights. They can be tricky to read right.

nope. No mistake. I took it to a HD dealership and they read the same code of 67. They are looking into it ATM. So far i know its a electrical gremlin of some sort. Every ride i go on more than 10 minutes and my battery doesnt even have juice to turn my motor back over. I have a new battery as of 7 months ago and all new stator and other parts as of a year ago.

is the battery charging ?
if not then it could be the regulator or the connector 77 (rubber 2 pin connector)located by the oil pump which is a known problem as they melt

Mine was doing the same thing after i installed a new voltage regulator. I didn't get a good enough ground, So i had to re-do it. Then no more problems.

i got the same problem, check your air sensor to see if it has a little bit of oil on it? that will set it off from what i have learned. but my code was for the air sensor, when i start it will come on then go off after a min. i reset and cleared codes and will go for awhile and trip again? maybe mine is just on the way out? but it has been recording fine with data logging.

Does the race ECM have codes that the stock one doesn't?

My '99 S3T had an intermittent check engine light yesterday. It ran fine. When I got home I found a loose connector on the oil pressure sender. Didn't check any codes.

Oil will not affect the intake air sensor.
Mine has been coated in oil for over 50 thousand miles.
All it is is a thermistor.

I'm betting it is a charging issue or a loose ground or something, causing the ECM to lose its' mind.
