the turn signals on my 95 s2 stopped stopping...
they used to quit after 10 flashes. now it just goes on and on and on and on...
i feel like im going around the world to the left (or right...)
anyone else hav this issue?
what relay controls this?

The self-cancelling device on the S2 is based on distance traveled, not # of flashes. Perhaps your original one was replaced at some point, if it (used to) consistently stop after a fixed # of flashes.
It is a small, deck-of-cards sized black module, fixed to a frame member behind your battery. Screwed onto the bike with a screw just above the middle of the device.

aah, thats odd.
i know the module you speak of.
i think i have one of those hanging around here somewhere.
how does it know how far i have gone?
is it timed or somehow hooked into the speedo.
the speedo drive stopped working a while ago, gotta change the unit on the wheel.
coincidence?

i searched figuring someone covered this topic. I didnt find this thread.
thanks alot. thats what i was looking for.
im pretty sure the wheel mounted speedo sensor went bad as the speedo turns when i put the cable tit into my drill...
i got the part last year, just never installed it yet...

The signal box on my 95 S2 is red...
Also, make sure the connector contacts on the plug and controller are clean.
Weird stuff happens when it gets dirty.
