I did get an extra set of PM wheels and several sets of the new front isolators but I don't really see the need to stock much else.

If the ignition fails and OEM replacements are not available, there are several good aftermarket ignitions.

If the ECM or other fuel injection parts are unavailable, a CV 40 will do just fine.

The frame is the key to having a Buell. There is no substitute for a Buell frame so that is the one thing that might make sense to stash.

Frames are cheap right now and they are the one thing that might become unobtainable in the future.

I got plastics and a spare set of rims I want to get chromed. ISO's, I should pick up a spare set or two as I see those being a potential issue in the future. Engine I am not to worried about, it's mostly just sportster parts.

Bank sensors??? cut that out, unneeded.

Forgot a few.

Along with a frame and front isolator: swingarm, rear motor/swingarm mount and rear isolators.

Other than that, the aftermarket and local fabricators could handle everything else.

You're stocking up on some of the most readily available stuff there is, or will be.

Look for Buell-specific stuff: Body parts and fuel tanks, brake components, suspension components, and the oddball little crap that doesn't break very often, like inner fenders and tank vents and stuff.

All of the commonly broken electrical stuff is either HD or Euro-outsourced, and will be common for many many years.

Koz - It's only the St. Paul Ebay store that has the blowout prices on Buell parts, not the walk-in dealership.

I am stocking up because i like to have the parts when "I" need them. Instead of having to order them or deal with those HD sacks.

Maybe I should look for another low mileage S3, I could park it and use it for a parts bike. Then I would know I had at least one of everything.
