Can anyone tell me if a XB9R Firebolt Rear Shock fit on the '00 M2 Cyclone? Some of them are for sale on ebay and they look like they will fit the 14' inches that I measured. My shock is leaking and I am pogosticking on every bump in the road. Please advise. I would like an alternative to paying $600-$700 for a new Works. |

No. Tubers use a pull/extension style,Xb's use the more common compression type. |

Here is your alternative! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Buell-S3T-Touring-C yclone-M2-SHOWA-REAR-SHOCK-8036-MI-/130410940924?c md=ViewItem&pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash= item1e5d1909fc Or you rebuild it yourself! http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/384 2/456914.html?1240593949 |

Is this your shock for sale? If not would you buy this for the price? I don't want to spend a lot of money, but if I am going to be in the same situation by next season with this one on ebay...then I might invest some money? |

Pulled the trigger on a Works shock today. Thanks for your help. I figure keeping my ass off the pavement is worth the $600. |

I have a Works on my S2, and love it. Better adjustments than stock, and....if it wears out...it's USER-rebuildable. Good work on not cheaping out on the important stuff. You won't regret it. |
