I posted previously pics of this shock that came with my bike. I was told by a few posters that it was an AST Shock. After an email and pics to the AST guys overseas, he says it's NOT an AST shock. I'm beginning to think it's the WP shock that came stock on the 1998 S-1W.What do you think? That makes more sense to me since the box of junk it came with had a remote resevoir that is unattached and the resevoir says Made in the USA.

Thanks. Also re: torqe values for the shock: On pag 2-36 of the manual it leas me to below ethat torque values is 40-45 ft/lbs. That is if I'm reading and interpreting correctly. Can someone confirm this? I'm confused because wouldn't one use the nut to torque to that values, or would it matter if I torqued the allen head side of the bolt? |

I don't know which sock that is, but you really need to put away your Duplo Blocks truck before you get out more toys. |
