I'm looking for a Race ECM for my 2002 X1W and they seem to have become rare.
I contacted Al at American Sport Bike and he doesn't have any, he steered me toward Erik Buell Racing and I'm still waiting for a reply.
Anyone know where I could get one, if they are still available?

Thank you

If you cannot find one, get ECMSPY and I'm sure somebody here can send you the required maps.
I have the race ECM and still intend to re-map once I get around to doing some data logging...

I may have found one from Erik Buell Racing.
I tried flashing my stock ECM with the Race maps but didn't get much success.

Oops - sorry, I read that thread the other day, but did not make the connection.

If it turns out you cannot find the race ECM, I would say get another stocker and reflash with the race map as the reflashing doesn't appear to be the issue you are having.

Looks like tuber ECM's are a rare commodity. The person at Erik Buell Racing said that they only have a few DDFI 1 ECM's available, and they would flash it with the Race program.

"I tried flashing my stock ECM with the Race maps but didn't get much success."

What seems to be the issue? You are not able to "burn" the maps? Remember to just burn the maps not the entire EEPROM.

I reloaded the stock eeprom and only burned the race maps but it still doesn't work. I get an EGO voltage on ecm spy even with the O2 sensor disconnected, which leads me to believe that the ecm may be toast (it "sees" the disconnected sensor for some reason).
