Author Message   Harold Posted on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 - 06:19 am:        There some new forks on ebay, that say they fit a 98 S1, part #'s 46095-98Y and 46096-98Y. I had thought that the only S1 made in 98 was the S1W, but the sellers don't know if they fit a S1W. The S2 WP's are a bit longer, and have the adjusters set up differently (compression and rebound on both legs) and the '96-'98 WP's are physically identical. In '98 they changed the damping up a little bit, adding more rebound damping to the shim stack. It's the same for the S1 or S1W.
