I finally got to ride my 97 M2 tonight . I haven't ridden it much since I got it and was in a parking lot backing into a space and noticed how little turning radius it has compared to other bikes I've owned and the frame is the fork stop. Is this the way it's supposed to be ? Hate to sound dumb but just wondered. Thanks

That's how it is on my 2001 M2. It should have a small thin rubber pad's on forks and frame for cushions.

And if your missing the rubber bumpers, you can use little round velcro buttons. 1 side sticks to the frame and of course another 1 on the forks. I don't need to tell ya not to use both sides of the buttons, Do I ?

so 4d,

your M2 sports mis-matched velcro pairs?

hook-against-hook on the left

&

loop-against-loop on the right?

Could sort of function as a crude "steering damper" I guess...

I thought about being that cheap but splurged for the loop on all four points. Gotta have that warm fuzzy feeling. :-)
