I was talking to a shop owner today and we were talking about ecm spy. He asked if it would work with Magnetti-marelli fuel inj systems 96-01. Honestly I know nothing of that system but told him I would ask the most knowledgeable guys I know. So if ya'll have any ideas I would be deeply indebted to ya'll as I'm perty sure he will trade the info and purchase of it for the help and use of his lift to change the base gaskets which are leaking. Thanks in advance. Jon' |

No-Go. Magneti-Marelli = Apples DDFI = Oranges I am by no means an EcmSpy expert as I have only used it for TPS resets, timing adjustments and general diagnostics. |

While I've never personally tried using the program on anything other than Buell DDFI, DDFI 1 to be exact, I'm 99.999% sure it will not work. They are totally different systems. I know some folks tried using the program on the Delphi FI system and it did not communicate with the ECM. |

You may want to post a question on a Ducati forum and see if anyone has a "bootleg" tuning software for the Marelli FI system. That's a popular FI system on most Italian bikes. Just a thought. |
