After I switched from a stock exhaust to my D&D I installed a race ecm on my 99 s3. As far as I know the ecm was never used. after hooking it up to ecmspy I noticed that it looks like the front cylinder is set up richer than the rear cylinder? I thought it was suppose to be the other way around. I thought it was running a little lean at about 3200 rpm and up. I have increased my fuel to the rear cylinder to at least match the front. It seems to be running better now at higher rpms but I have created a slightly choppy ride around 2200-2700 rpm. Has anybody with the race ecm noticed this? |

Should always increased the same values front&rear. IMHO running with this setup, If it were me, setting WOT at 115% or more. D&D full race exhaust need more fuel for the engine run better. Either way you decide. Regard |

Yeah Was working with the same issue recently. When using ecm spy to modify your fuel maps choose the simultaneous % option at the bottom. This will cause the program to modify each map simultaneously based on the percentage of increase and/or decrease. start your modification on the front map. If you would like a copy of the maps I'm currently using in Florida lemme know...but they are not perfect. Start by increasing your values by five at a time and try to even it up in the problem areas.... Your maps are crossed up don't know what that is all about. the rear cylinder is supposed to to be set up a lil richer than the front on the race ecm. I've got those maps as well.... Hotter=Leaner Oh lemme know if you need the maps...I hook ur ass up (Message edited by willyboy386 on June 04, 2010) |
