I need a 45946-94y. Lower leg for my front right fork. After a good thrashing on Memorial day I came home it it was leaking real bad. After inspection I found the lower tube has been galled from brake tourque I assume. I don't really want to change to the showa front end right now. If anybody knows of a dealer that has one please let me know. Thanks you all gentlemen and ladies too. SG | ||

I almost posted these last night and decided that Chris only wanted a lower and had probably already seen these. I've been watching them and putting it off as well, comforted that there were 5 on hand. Now you can count me as joining the rush... The next item I've been resisting is the wiring harnesses. I tried calling and getting a discount while buying other stuff and they wouldn't consider it. With 10 on hand you'd think they'd want them gone! | ||

I tried to get lower 8 years-ago almost $300.00 for one side hard chromed slider lower at at WP!!!!  and WP said it would take A month of Sundays TOO!!!+ they wanted me to take-apart and measure for them in mm.So They could make one.Forking by Franke could not make too big at the time. I think if I drain new shocks and use heaver Sym Fl. will last longer and ride Better!!!!Such as Fuchs Silkolene Pro RSF 7.5 Wt. | ||

Court thanks. I realized I was being a bonehead now after I asked the local harley dealer for a lower and he said they no longer available and if they were the last price was $469.95. So I got my wife to release the death grip on the check book and let me buy a set at a SUPERcheap price. Shipping was only 20 dollars and change. All said and done I got a steal. I'll have to do a little work to transfer everything over but it's not the worst thing I've ever done. Thanks to all for making me come to my senses. There is only three left now. Ross I use shorter newer shock on my S2 too it quickens steering and looks good too,but a new set of shocks for $300.00 Wow!!!!  | ||

Yeah, my XB forks are almost too short. I'm gonna play with mounting, drill some new holes in the fender, and modify the fairing to make some more clearance. It'll touch sometimes right now. | ||

Are you sure it was galled,had some discoloration on mine,looked like hard chrome was gone,but it was just a burnish and buffed out. | ||

FMJ yes the groves are about .010 deep. I may get this one machined I'm not sure yet. I can use the lower left tube and attach it to the right wheel/brake mount. I figure I got another 35k or so until I have to worry about it. I have to pull it apart to get the race tec valves and springs out I'll try and get a pic on here. SG | ||
