We use 3M nextel 312 for wrapping free turbine oil tubes, it's a high temp (2100f) woven ceramic and it keeps the pressure and scav lines from coking up due to heat from the engine.

The last bit of the rolls is too short for anything at work, so we throw them out...or people take them for projects.

There's a small spot I need to fix near where the pipes get close together (pic four), and my safety wire is a bit too tight (hard to keep the wrap in place otherwise) but i did it all in the course of an hour.
