Hello all got my 2000 X1 back on the road. Finally. Two new things have popped up.

First when I start the bike and let it worm up it idles fine. But after riding the bike it heats up to running temp and the idle seems to increase 100 rpm. Runs great but idle is high. Turn the bike off let it rest start again no adjustments idles fine. Any ideas? Air leak?

Second after riding for a wile I let the bike sit over night seems that there is an oil leak on the floor. I put a white towel on the floor and it looks like the oil is red. Looks to me K/N filter oil. Seems that fuel is bleeding out or the air cleaner “Fuel injected” taking the air cleaner oil with it running down the pipe and marking it spot on the floor. Any ideas? Fuel pressure not venting correctly?

Turn the idle screw to lower the rpms or reset the tpms with ECM spy.

+1 on reducing the idle.
Get it warmed up and then adjust it to just under 1000 RPM.

Mine would overheat in traffic and rev up to 1300 until I did that.
Some here would say that under 1000 RPM is not good for oil pressure.
I would not agree with them.
