I rode my 2000 cyclone about fifty miles last monday, Went to check on my bike today and the petcock had worked its way loose from the tank and was dripping fuel...My question is if there is torque specs on this and if theres a seal between the two? thanks for any help!

Now that sucks, yes the torque specs on the 2 screws are 25-27 in-lbs and the fuel valve has a o-ring that slides over the strainer part #PO301.8 which is likley ok. I would be safe and torque them a tad less say 22-24 in-lbs because they are easy to strip.IMO you might want to put a dab of silicone to the screws when reinstalling,it might help in keeping them put and not vibrate out

I put some very small lock washers on mine, have stayed in place for 4 years and counting.

I found my oil drain hose was dripping running down the frame in dripping off the kickstand stopper. It also was on the kickstand switch...time to remove it and forget about it...
