Who has clip-ons on their tuber? could you post pics? How do you like the riding style?

If i can get get my renthals to fit with my XB forks, i was thinking of putting on a set of adjustable clip-ons over my triple attached to the fork sticking above the triple.

thanks

If you put enough fork above the triple it will drop your front end enough to mess up the handling and cornering clearance unless you use longer forks.

I have to put the forks up about 1.5" to get it to clamp correctly. I could go with XB triples but thats a whole other issue. I could drop there rear a little. My last bike, 03 R1 I lowered 2" front and rear and it handled just fine.
I would rather not lower it any, but to get the XB wheels, i have to just a bit.

thanks for the pics all. I have been out measuring tonight and i will need a min of a 1.5" spacer for the handlebars, but so far I have only found a 1" or something like the 2" adjustable ROX spacers.... or clip-ons....

I have an S2 upper coming that i was going to use with either clipons or thinking or drilling 2 holes in it and bolting on a set of handlebar mounts. This will allow me to made a spacer and bolt them on at the correct height i need to clear the forks.
