I know where there is one for sale with only 3000 miles on the odometer. Its at the original dealership and has been for sale for years. I'd buy it in a heartbeat if I could come up with the scratch!!! | ||

I would love to own one of those nice looking bikes but I would be really scared to ride it all that much because I would not want to brake something non engine related and not be able to replace it. | ||

At this time, that is a fair price for an RS. Personally, I would not let mine go less than 10k. Then again mine is a special one also. | ||

As long as we are on this topic, what does the group think is a good price for a very clean S2 with all updates and nice extras: (corbin seat, x1 shifter, new shifter detent, SE cams, ported and polished heads, carbon SSR, less than 20k miles) ? I am just curious as I found one for sale and it looks nicer than the usual $2500 - $3500 examples that I have looked at over the last few years. | ||

That was a great buy at $8,000. I had a 1991 identical to that with the black with gold lettering. That one appears to be in pristine condition. | ||

No way it's worth 8K It is. Because someone paid that much for it. Fair market value. Of course that doesn't mean every RS is worth that much. |
