Nice bike for that price. Wish I had the money. I could always use another S2

A neglected, half-ass color-changed, obviously quite unloved x-perimental bike. I think I, personally would prefer the cleanest, low mileage stock S2 for $5K instead or I buy an out-of-this-world S1W for the same money. That said, I doubt that anybody will pay even close to $6K for this bike.

Granted the paint aint great but the bike is barely broken it with 6500 miles and that bike with a turbo should be quite a runner

I still own 3 classic Kawasakis (H2, Z1, Z1000), all of which are well-engineered, super durable machines. The 4th one was a Z1000 Turbo, a true nighmare. Turbo bikes are as fragile and unreliable as it gets. If you want sheer power, buy that super clean, 88-ci-powered S1 on eBay for the same money and save thousands of dollars on up-and-coming repair bills.

I agree. looks like a fun bike, no way I'd pay $6K for it. I wouldn't buy it for more than $3K. For that price I could sell the turbo and PMs, put some Buell wheels on it and sell it for $1800 an make a little profit. I'd have no use for it otherwise.

Buell experimented with Turbochargers back in the Tuber days, and early in the XB years.
This is a stealership selling this one, maybe it's one of the experimental bikes?

I've seen pictures of this particular bike elsewhere. My bet is it was a trade-in.
