Easy, Take said bearings to a bearing store. There should be one in an industrial area near you. You can get them cheaper and may be able to get ceramic ones as well. If there are no 'numbers' on the bearings they will be able to order based on size... IE this is a shop near me... http://www.bearingservice.com/ |

Take them into your local Bearing house. We took the wheel with bearings installed and got 'em. American made too! |

I don't have info on the Marchesini wheel bearings, but here's the Castalloy wheel bearing info, which I believe to be similar (at least one is the same) Castalloy Wheels - NSK bearings Front wheel - 6204-2RS (47 OD, 20 ID, 14 W) Rear wheel Right side - 6205-2RS (52 OD, 25 ID, 15 W) Left side - 62205-2RS (52 OD, 25 ID, 18 W) |

The part numbers are the same, save dashes/periods/spaces, regardless of brand. I bought two 62042RS, Koyo brand, to fit my XB wheel on my tuber axle and they were $11/pr. The most recent pair I bought are XB size Koyo brand and they were $15/pr. I bought the bearings at the local Bearing house called Texas Bearing. |

None of the links show ceramic bearings. Who's got them, at the best price? |

I can confirm Phelan's numbers listed above.I pulled the original bearings from the Marchesini's on my '96 S2T,took them to Bearings and Drives and these are the numbers they came up with. |

6205 is a size reference, 2RS is a "qualities" reference, From my understanding. I think the Koyos i got for the front were just 6205-2R. |

Those 62205-2RS (rear left bearing, the thicker one) bearings from NSK are a bitch to find. And, the bearing place said they were $47. WTF? Anyways, found a pair VXB brand 62205-2RS's on eBay for like $20 shipped. |

OK, the Kawasaki (or was it Suzuki) forum said the hot tip is NSK 'VV' bearings, for the bang for buck, bearing-wise. Something about the seal is not contributing to drag on the bearings. Anybody ever hear about this? (Message edited by jayvee on April 11, 2010) |
