For those of you you have not been following various threads I have posted in about the changes I made to my S3 this spring - here she is!

Forks rebuilt with new bushings, seals, dust caps, gold valves shimmed for me, 0.90 kg Race Tech springs, upgraded rotor, new M3 Sportec tire.

Penske shock, 450 lb. spring set up for me.

machined and polished stock pulley.

this was always a nice handling machine, but it is like a magic carpet ride now! : ]

There is more I want to do, but I am out of money!

Sorry, 1st time trying picture sharing with Hotmail.

Looks real good, I like the contrast with that background, that's a good photo.

Is there some kind of strap-looking thing running from the top caliper bolt to the bottom of your triple clamp? It's obscuring the relector on the front fork. I can't pick out what the heck that is?

Looks like drag straps.

that is indeed a Pingel front end lowering strap and for about $30 you can cut 1-2 tenths off your time slip!

it also helps a lot with consistency...

Wow, never heard of it, never saw one before, didn't know they existed, and don't understand how it works.
(Could I be any more clueless about this?)
Thanks, just wondering.

It straps the fork lowers to the triples to compress the front suspension, lowering the front end, moving the center of gravity forward, and minimizing lift at launch.
